The Key Highlights of SmartMan's Multi-Tenant Architecture
Multi-tenancy is the technical term used for offering software as a service. SmartMan's multi-tenant architecture offers individual client-level administrators all the privileges that a typical administrator will have. This enables client-level administrators to create and manage users according to organizational requirements. Since SmartMan already supports resource-specific authorization, administrators of each client organization can go a step further and restrict the list of network elements visible for each user in their organization.
SmartMan's multi-tenancy architecture also offers some special features for the service provider (the device manufacturer) by allowing them to add new services to the system. The architecture allows service providers to enable these new services to clients (organizations) based on their subscription level.
